We are looking into using a ThinPrep 2000 instrument for our urine cytologies. A rep from Hologic told my manager these can also be used to do FISH on urines as well. I am wondering if anyone uses the ThinPrep 2000 for this purpose and if so, how well do you like it? Thanks, Bryan

Hey, I have a question. I was wondering if there are what the CAP regulations are for grossing, and if cutting bones for diagnosis falls into the same category as grossing other tissues. In out lab we have a PA who grosses all of the specimens. However the HT's cut down bone sections for bones
