Tony has great point. I used to use Histogel (research for cell lines but applicable to cell block). Switched to Low-melt agarose because of the temp consideration on unfixed cells. Low-temp is a little misleading. Melts (in oven at over 60 degrees) but COOL IT and remains liquid at 37degree
