I actually attended a class they put on a few months ago where they used Unitrieve. It works really well. It doesn't seem to produce any kind of background and yes, it is used at much lower temps. However the retrieval process takes a little longer, but...you can put it in an even lower temp. wa

This happened to me several months ago. Our lab always has high humidity. If you are going to continue to use clear rite with humidity in the air, I would change it everyday. Also, change out your 100% because it's inevitably getting water in it too. I just switched my whole lab back to xyle
