Just a quick question. If you defrost your cryostat to room temperature and
wipe it out with 70% alcohol is that considered decontamination? Or does it
have to be fumigated with formaldehyde, or have a UV function on board the
machine?

Has anyone come up with a documented and referenced procedure for
decontamination of a cryostat using 37% Formaldehyde?
I pulled up old notes in the Histonet archives and saw that Tim Morken
was working on this but that was a number of years ago.

over kill, our pathologist says we have to do it if cap says. (they also made
me throw away all of the dry drys that they said were outdated?
