Akemi, here is an answer to your question about California histotech
certification / licensure.
PA's have to be certified, but not licensed. There are no requirements for
histotechs.

This rumor has gone as far as my classroom. Our teacher has mentioned it for
many years as a possibility. I have never seen or heard of any official
source.
