First off, you should remove "applaunch 220" from your command line
parameters. Secondly, have the working directory set to the HL2 directory.
After that, see if you are still getting the same crash. Let Alfred know if
you have the tier0_s.dll problems/crashes after that.

But yes, separating single and multi player mods would be another nice help

Is anyone still experiencing this error? And just to double check, who
is successfully debugging their mod under steam right now (and if so
with what launch options)?

I hope someone know how to do it!

I wonder if it is any way to load 3d texture in dds format. I wanted
to use it in a shader and simply work with it with tex3D.

wonderful idea, but going with what the page is now,
its only for online mods.

Another (and maybe better) way for people to get us this information
would be to add it to the page for your MOD on the developer site.
Here's a listing of the current MODs, so if you want to go this route,
just shoot me a URL to your MOD's site.

Also one thing that I'd like to inform you about, ever since the update I
get severe sound distortion when running any Source game in windowed mode.
This ONLY occurs when I have windowed mode enabled, sometimes it is just for
a split second, and at others the sound completely messes up requiring a

through steam, there is an option in steam to view 3rd party mods and
download them, only the good ones get listed.

One idea, what about a service where mod-makers can register their mod
and a download URL? That way the file doesn't need to be hosted by
Valve, but could still be accessed from Steam.
