Yea sorry for posting here. I just never waited so long for anything, and
its driving me nuts!
It's also going to be a very long wait for server modders who want to mod
the game already. Metamod:S is probably going to need an entirely new
binary

Funny thing is, i got tf2 sitting here on dear old 64k
downstream downloading the decrypt hash keys from the
content servers (its going to be a while).

I've seen many dumps for my mod with this similar stack trace ending on
the exact address in studiorender.dll. I remember asking Alfred about
it a year ago, and he said:
"I am not getting good stack traces from those dumps, could they be
general memory/stack corruption?"

I've never seen a crash involving studiorender.dll. But perhaps it is one
of your shaders. Do you happen to know anything specific about the model it
was trying to draw there and what shader it was using?

So we released FF, and things are going pretty well. As with any mod I'm
sure the flood of people having issues has begun. The most serious of the
issues we are seeing is frequent client crashes in studiorender.dll. I went

However, I seem to have solved it, I don't know WHY this solves it (unless
