refered to the file & printer sharing type connections. When it comes to
TCP/IP & Windows you can have as many connections as the
OS/Hardware/Connection can handle.

block (SMB) connections. I.e. any connection made to a windows box using
uniform network naming convention "\\machinename\sharename".
