I have SRCDS running as a service on my Win2k3 box. I don't ever see

the CS DS has a stats window you get get 2 using the tabs. u have 2 check
the FPS box, and the drop down box at the bottom has 2 be set 2 FPS, then that
should give U a rough estimate of your FPS.
I think that should help,

Do you just want it to look at, or are you collecting the information?
Every HLDS/SRCDS console I've seen has the current
I'm not positive, but I think "fps_max" is a client side variable only. I

I've added it though, and set it to 1000. Now if only I could get
that dern 'stats' command to give me the server FPS I could let you

I'm running the most up to date CSS on a windows Server 2003 box. The
FPS still drops every day, so I restart the server daily. But my
problem was that on startup, it would start at only 64 FPS. So
running WMP in the background while the server is running moved my box
to a constant 512 FPS.

Does this also work on the new css version ? Isnt that only for the old CS
server? My server is running at 256 all the time, just if it runs longer than
1 day or so it begins to drop 128... 64..?
Kind regards,

Start WMP (Windows Media Player) and run clock.avi in your %systemroot%
(C:\Windows\clock.avi) folder, then you unlock the windows FPS lock.
Minimize the WMP and you got your server running in 512fps...
There is also an FPS bug in CSS on Windows 2003 servers´s that drops the
