Heh I'd actually like to see them permanently cap it at 64, have every server out there running the same and running it well instead of the black magic art of settings, and every server being different (obviously servers will always have some differences, but at least we can try and limit those). I have SRCDS running as a service on my Win2k3 box. I don't ever see the console window. But I would like to be able to check server FPS intermitently during the day. I use HLSW to rcon to the server and check ping / user counts etc. I would like to be able to issue some RCON command and see wh

I'm running the most up to date CSS on a windows Server 2003 box. The FPS still drops every day, so I restart the server daily. But my problem was that on startup, it would start at only 64 FPS. So running WMP in the background while the server is running moved my box to a constant 512 FPS. >
