You're positive? When I view the player list it always says HLTV is a
spectator. Even Halfd reports it as a spectator. But then again, I think

I haven't seen it come up on ours.

HLTV takes up a regular player slot, not a spectator slot.
no need to turn spectators on.
But yes you can limit spectator slots if you have it turned on. I don't
recall the svar at the moment, sorry.

I had this problem.
I have a athlon (model 2) with a GeForce and a SB Live! value.
It would happen the most when the system temp got too high and the Video
card would heat up. If my computer room was too hot I could never play. I
ended up disabling the agp 4x overclock to solve it. Hasn't be

Hey, y'all, I just thought I'd let you all know that I've reached a point
right now where I've let gaming and everything related (including especially
adminning of servers) pretty much take over my life, in almost every
aspect--replacing not only more typical social interaction but even so far

Well, this has proven to be a masturbatory experience. With kkrcon 2.11,
you can do a:

'{for(i=NF;i>0;i--)printf "%s ",$i;print ""}' | sed 's/^/banid /g'

The isp I use here in nyc, www.inyc.com, provides co-location. I
couldn't even guess what they charge but their network is run from
level3.com which has always given me great ping times. Worth checking
out at least I guess.

I think it is scripting.
You setup and alias that fires, switches to your pistol/knife, switches back
to awp. The you are able to fire again.

well to start I would make sure you have stuff in your mapcycle.txt. If this
is not the problem then set the mapcycle perms to 777 and see if it works.
If this works, play with the perms to get a level you like and that works.
If it doesn't work tell us your results.

If you installed the full cs 1.3 as a fresh install and didn't change
the mapcycle.txt, that's the problem. The mapcycle.txt contains
references to cs_thunder and de_rotterdam, which both were cut from CS
1.3. So, when the server tries to change to one of them, nothing
happens. Edit the file a
I'll find something.. The best place I found (reference for the rest of
you) is to find a company colocated somewhere who is paying a flat rate to a
good provider and then purchasing 1/2 a rack and spare bandwidth.. its like
priceline for bandwidth.. they would rather sell it to you then pay for
It seems that I know what the problem is, but I don't know the solution.
After the map is about to change, it freezes up. Normally after a few
seconds you see the "Loading" in the screen, and then it changes map.
When I manually change the map, it loads the map as usual and players can
connect
Nooo, damn this weak recession to hell -- our economy is fine :( I download
hella fast from your server now with my DSL... who knows what will happen if
you switch providers. I really like your site (phpnuke?) as well.. you keep
up with the news unlike a lot of places.. and your servers rock!
I dunno.. There was someone on my server last night who was firing the awp
at the same rate as a pistol..

After a few delays, we are proud to finally release the Linux server port of
Wizard Wars v1.0 to the public!
Now all of you server admins have no excuses for not running a Wizard Wars
server. :)
Please download the file (40 megs) from our download page @

think that is the won auth part. You might want to see if you can

The ATI fix also applied to some geforce cards as well. I believe it was the

He is using (or has installed) a wall hack. Have him re-install his GeForce
