Sylpheed in linux does what you want. It needs X and gtk. It handled threading fine but I get this list in digest form now because I think it's easier. Anyway, there's also a version called sylpheed-claws which is "unstable" but it works just fine, and livin on the edge is more fun anyway ;-)

I maybe need to add that i always run pingbooster 3... if that has something todo with the lower cpu usage. could also be some other tweaks.. it was a while since i installed my baby... /Bjorn On Sun, 8 Jun 2003, kama wrote: > > well.. my server got a lower load when enabling hz=1000.. not much

[hlds_linux] Monitoring HLDS Servers with MRTG

Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is possible, but I was wondering how to go about getting MRTG to monitor my HLDS Servers that I'm running on my machine. I'm probably going to publish the live stats on our website, would anyone have a clue? Please help me setup this from scratch, or would you know a

It increases CPU usage for me too. I was using 5.0 but the high CPU use for NAT made me give it up, some time ago. Maybe now it's better. Looks like latency is lower under FreeBSD 4.8-stable as well, according to my customers. At 07:58 AM 6/8/2003, you wrote: > lower??? are you sure? our server

I'm running a 15-Slot CS Server on my Celeron 1200, 256 MB Ram. I noticed increased CPU-usage since I run 3.1.1.1, but only around 10-20% more (depends on the map), so this is no real problem for me. I took a look at the list of running processes, and I'm running hlds_i686... So it looks like hld
