Unless you are running only 64 bit games on a 64 bit OS, go with Intel. Countless benchmarks by places such as www.TomsHardware.com and www.amdzone.com (Slightly biased) show that in the 32Bit realm, Athlon 64's are not king. For Counter-Strike and games of the like, a 7200RPM Drive is fine. Maps
