this command I get this error:
./hlds_run -game nsp +exec server.cfg +maxplayers 16 +map ns_eclipse -debug

They do as we saw in this update. They don't include unnecessary things like
roundtime clock...

Hello folks,
just a simple question: which is the binary to use best when running a
32Bit hlds an a AMD64 Dual Opteron Platform, hlds_i686 or hlds_amd?
Best regards

I would go for the most cache, and in my opinion for game servers 512KB should be a
minimum. There are some P4 models with 1MB that you can get for not much more. I just
priced a DELL P4 2.8Ghz with 1MB cache, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD for $1,008.
I would go for a 1MB cache processor if it were me or for

Dear Readers,
Does hlds_l(_amd) benefits of a 512kB cache core, or could i better take a
faster model without the 512kB cache and go for the standard 256kB cache?
Any comments on this?
With regards,
Im trying to find out if anyone else is having issues since the last patch,
many of our servers are showing problems with a big lag spike every 10min or
so
this spike has a few smaller spikes then one lasting for approx 5 sec where
everything freezes.
the server then returns to normal, it isn't cpu
