The rants have been going on for ages and ignored.
"It will be ready when it's done" That's been the stock reply.
Now if you ask about 64 bit VAC2 support you don't even get the courtesy of
a response.
Your rant will join mine in the Valve bin of "doesn't warrant a reply"

I suggest you hold your breath. Don't forget: the moment you faint, you
start breathing again.
Let's face it: we're not the highest priority group of people for Valve.
The "end users" are. And since the highest priority of any company is to

Hmm...not totally sure what you mean by maps compiled since August 4th,
but then again I'm still learning this server stuff :) Basically this
server was freshly installed last week so if that means there's these
compiled maps on there then I'm unsure. It's just weird that this is now
crashing sinc
Actually, VAC2 with 64bit binary has been down since VAC2 was released for
us. Should we hold our breath for this or prepare for a 128bit VAC3 that

It is back up and running now. When this happens just leave your server
alone, the problem will self correct once we fix the backend problem
that caused it.

It's from an install/server setup done within the past week, so
everything will be new from that point. Yes, it's running on linux. Does
that mean that other source maps (taken from the point of this refent
install) will cause problems too? Is it just a matter of removing from
the map cycle to fix
