I repeated the test on my older system. It does not have that problem with
the new beta. Top output:
top - 02:32:27 up 5:45, 3 users, load average: 0.41, 0.38, 0.32
Tasks: 140 total, 1 running, 139 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu0 : 2.6%us, 5.6%sy, 0.0%ni, 91.1%id, 0.0%wa, 0.3%hi
No, you are looking at top wrong! I only have 1 CPU and no HT. Anyway,
what's wrong with HT? Works great with winblows. But never used it with
Linux.
Ok, back to the 38.3%.
Cpu(s): 38.3%us, 49.9%sy, 0.0%ni, 11.9%id, 0.0%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.0%si,

I don't know if it's the same bug but I have a box running on Fedora 7
(2.6.21 kernel) on a 3.2ghtz Xeon. 32 players, 66 tick. Yesterday it was
running at nearly 1000fps and using 50-70%cpu
How do you get 38.3% and 87.1% usage of cpu if you only have one cpu ?
I guess that you have HT enable ! - dissable that !

Try disabling AMX. There might be something printed to the console or a
plugin that causes it.

Hi Alfred,
Thanks for clearing this out, so we'll have a check now how it works, if you
don't mind I will post a result here. If we have still the fps drops on
debian sarge servers, I hope your team will still find the time to try to
fix it.
Cheers,
Michael

You need to turn on "sv_pure_kick_clients 1" if you want to kick clients
right now. When we do the full release that will be the default setting.

Is this update fixing the fps bug from the 13.3.2007 update, on servers
with glibc libraries prior 2.3.5?
