I've used it at work for production servers ( MSSQL, Exchange, ... ) and it works like a charm. We're moving to MS Hyper-V starting in Feb 09, not my decision, and VMWare has always seemed to perform better than MS in the Virtualization realm. That being said, I've never done it with game server
