Hi !
have you checked the logs ?
if you are running any plugins as metamod or anything else, remove it and
try again.
Im having "debug | tee server_log" in my startline - and its creating a log
file named server_log in the same folder as you start the server.
Good Luck !

Strange I remember using hldsupdatetool without any problem on
Arch, but now when I try to run it I get a segfault, too.

A possible way to debug using the dump files is to download and install the
microsoft debug kit.

Hi there guys!
I am trying to set up a Source dedicated server (primarily: Garry's
Mod, Counter Strike: Source, and Team Fortress 2) on Arch GNU/Linux
AMD64.
I downloaded the hldsupdatetool.bin from steampowered.com and
satisfied all library dependencies:
$ ldd hldsupdatetool.bin
linux-
lesystem.

Same lagspikes occur despite if it's different partition, different disk
or same filesystem.

I verified the folder was usable by copying files into it manually.

We are also experiencing the spikes every single time when replay is
enabled on the server. It's like going back in time several times within
a minute. Really annoying.
