Hello,
we see alot of server crashes recently, sv_logflush is set to 1, the last
log line of the crashes shows engine errors:
L 07/09/2012 - 20:58:55: "kingkool<43>" changed
role to "soldier"
L 07/09/2012 - 20:58:55: Engine error: Model
models/weapons/c_models/c_blackbox/c_blackbox.mdl not found
Tried running the server without SourceMod and still had the same
issue. Time for a clean install..

Totally. If you're writing server plugins, Linux is the way to go. Linux
performance has gotten better, but still hasn't come to par with Windows.
Or so is the case with SRCDS, I haven't run goldsrc in a 'official'
capacity for a couple years now.

Yes, replays are enabled with nginx running on the same machine.

My quick play server is usually full 16+ hours a day. I will certainly
try upping the frequency at which I delete the sprays, but I don't think
it's the issue as the lag spikes aren't occurring when a player joins.

How much traffic would you say hits your servers, as how tf2 works is
that it has to look through all those spray files everytime someone logs

I said I have a daily job set to clean these up, so there is no build

I should mention since I haven't, I have two separate non-forked srcds

Do you have sprays enabled?
Go into your server to the downloads folder and see if you have a bunch
of .dat files. If it is over 1000 that might be your problem.

That sounds exactly the same as my "crashes" I'm having on Multiplay (they
might not actually be crashes and more long freezes now that I think of it,
and I also get the steamauth kicks sometimes). I also suffered the same

Your server crashes might be related as I have noticed some random

I found out that I do actually have access to CPU load info - and I can

Running sourcemod 1.5.0, one of the nightly releases- whichever Multiplay

I have replay running on a local instance of nginx because of the
remote replay server issues. I also have jobs set to clear out those
folders daily so I don't think that's the cause.

Slackware 13.37 64 bit with the 3.3.7 kernel. Rock solid. Gets the job
