Yes.
Also is there gonna be any documentation? I know it's a reach but I'd be a
bad admin if I didn't ask for at least some docs.

Anyone not seeing their servers not being listed in the Steam group again?
This is really getting old.

aults to all base modes. Astute server operators may have
noticed that teamversus and teamscavenge are no longer in the default
sv_gametypes since they are now built on the base versus and scavenge modes.

I think a lot of folks with 'Nix.
I don't know WTF they were thinking (for the second time now) by removing
the mp_gamemode from the cfg's.

If you put sv_gametypes in the config file for a fork and only specify one
game type, I think that will work.

Why did you guys disable
mp_gamemode "versus" or whatever etc. again?
I can't seem to figure out how to spawn forks with certain game modes.

Also wouldn't it be smart to start prepping the downloads so we don't run

Valve,
Seriously fix the following things in L4D2 since apparently you attention
lies there:
1) Steam groups, at least every major content update patch has broken this.
2) Consistent cvars for the servers, stop shooting yourselves in the foot
and make some things standard.
3) QA department.
Happening for me as well. Servers show up and over a 12 hour period
disappear.
This is really getting annoying, maybe too busy working on all those great
ideas for L4D2.

So I've set the following:
mapcyclefile "maplist-vs-custom.txt"
mp_disable_autokick 1 // Disable Autokick
sv_cheats 0 // Disallow Cheats
sv_clearhinthistory 0 //Clear Server Side Hint History
sv_consistency 1 //Enforce file consistency
sv_pausable 0 //Server not pausable
//turn on logging
log on
Looks like this broke sv_search_key and sv_steamgroup_exclusive 1. My Steam
Group servers (Shacknews Left4Dead) are not showing up in the list after
being updated. Anyone else experiencing this?

Can Valve confirm or deny this link? Not sure it's been reported or if this
guy is just seeing things and thinks this is a bug:

No privacy features though.
sv_password is ignored. I run a private server for Shacknews.com and I have

Any idea on the L4D .cfg files? Server CVARs would be nice as well!
Thanks,
