Yes, it looks like the hldsupdatetool update fixed an issue with some HL2 files which were not downloaded before (or maybe it's now a bug), but no GCF/game content has been updated (except for Portal, but that unrelated). The engine.so was probably from last week Engine update (with the TF2+CSS Be
