No they don't! HLGuard is server side, and can only prevent information from being sent to the client, while CDeath was server side and hooked into openGL, and had complete control on the client (theoretically, of course :>). Correct me if i'm wrong, but CDeath also prevented hooking? -- M

As far as I know you can't use CD on a mod that's VAC-protected. I think CD still works on no-VAC mods. And this guy had CD up-to-date at least untill Valve introduced VAC. I've never felt so "secure" when my cs-servers ran CD. It realy worked! So until Valve convinces me, which they still haven't,
