The CPU is being detected correctly by HLDS, there is no Pentium 4 binary, just a i686/Pentium II+ binary. I am a little unsure of what you are saying. So the server WAS working before you updated the kernel? Or is this an entirely new setup? Also, what parameters are you giving hlds_run? On Sun,
