The problem: When I run hlds_run i get this:

The CPU is being detected correctly by HLDS, there is no Pentium 4
binary, just a i686/Pentium II+ binary. I am a little unsure of what you
are saying. So the server WAS working before you updated the kernel? Or
is this an entirely new setup? Also, what parameters are you giving
hlds_run?

The server was running fine before i recompiled the kernel. However I
have the old kernel backed up. Incase something like this occurs. But
now even with the old kernel the server wont run.
