messenges his little mirror ICQ list with 3 or 4 links to download them

Not everyone on this list is a server admin plus the first thing
everyone here would do if given pre-release links would be to download
it and start mirroring to our communities before the official release.
This list used to never get release information. All we used to do was
talk about buildin
