Hans Hoyer horns have an engraved logo and model number right next to the
last brace before the bell flare. For example, mine says Model 4801K. It
does have the slide with a pull ring for the B-flat side next to the valve
cluster so the one you describe could be a 4801K. I'm not sure what the

Hello everyone,
I've tried out my private teacher's horn and have come to like it. She
plays on a Hans Hoyer, but I dont know the model. It is a geyer wrap that she
purchased at a TMEA convention about 5 or 4 years ago. I have asked her about
what type of model it is, but she says
All & Alan especially. I thought about it & finally decided to post to the
List rather than offline. Being of Slavic descent (into genealogy research),
having visited Russia & Ukraine, etc, I certainly appreciate Alan's posting

it is still "bleeding edge" technology. When did the iTunes Music
Store open? Mid-2003 for Macintosh users (such as myself) and
