Your teacher was wrong typically, experiencing a youngster with the D-major movements instead of beginning with the much easier second movement of the no.3 concerto in E-flat )originally no.1). And the D-major movements came off Mozart´s pen last, while K.447 was first besides the Rondo K.371.
