Dear all, I've been asked to play BWV 14 (with aria in B-flat) and been wondering if alto or basso is ment. A corno da caccia is indicated in my edition (NBA). Is this a short trumpet, or the long hunting horn? Looking at the score (the notes), I find arguments for both octaves. I only know of r
