I used a whole bottle of the Zaja french vanilla and it worked pretty well. When the smell went away, I knew it was time to re-oil:) Despite the novelty of the scent, it worked pretty damn well. It's a bit pricey though. I bought mine through a "dealer" of Zaja so I was able to not pay shipping
