Jerry, I was reffering to the new material, not the old plastic ones. The poly-carbon valves expand with heat and shrink with cold as to keep a tight seal. But the issue off cleaning them remains the same. I think oiling these valves will begin to dissolve the material? I just remeberJohane

Finke buyers must have discipline, With the advantages of the Finke brand come the disadvantages. The material the valves are made out of do not need oil to work. This means that calcuim and other particles that build up inside your horn will mean constant cleaning for these fickle valves.
