I have noticed on some areas that people put a big polygon borders areas
over several buildings.
Let me remind you that building is unique ( base on roof color, shadow)
and in most case it is either rectangular or square. So no trapeze or
bizzare
to the short tutorial video

In JOSM, square buildings can be added with 2 clicks. Use the building tool
(B).
If you draw a square building, and then select it, any further square
buildings you add will be forced to be square with the selected building.
Using this method you can add typical building plans quickly, by adding

The building plugin *really* works great! Really useful in this situation.
JOSM has become a very powerful tool and it needs more documentations
or youtube how to videos :)

Ah, that's how it works! I've been trying to figure out for ages why
buildings were sometimes forced to be square and sometimes not. In
African cities in particular, buildings are oriented at all sorts of
angles, and forced-square is a nuisance (have to hold down the SHIFT key
to override).
