Currently make copies is not supported on the Photosmart C4100 series.

Did you use hp-setup to configure the printer? If not delete the
current printer queues and run hp-setup.
If you are using hplip 1.6.10 please upgrade from our website.

I installed a printer in CUPS with a usb:, socket:, etc. backend and
it doesn't show up in the Device Manager.
It does show up in the CUPS web interface.
I get this output:

Found out that under knoppix, /var/spool/cups/tmp is non-writeable.
Changed it to /tmp. But have to get a new ink to test it whether works
now, as I found out its at a zero-level.
