Well, your images might be wrong, for instance. Without any reference, we
can't really tell what's going on, let alone troubleshoot it. So could you
post a couple of the affected images somewhere? (or alternatively just
attach them to a message to this group). Preferably also attach a failing

yesterday I reinstalled Ubuntu 10.4.1.
After installing a lot of programs I gave hugin a try.
In Terminal I pasted:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:hugin/hugin-builds
Then updated and installed using Synaptic.
Then using hugin 2010.4.0.c379b4821223 tried stitching images that worked
well so

I am looking for the function in hugin that I would call rounded
perspective correction(I am not sure if this is the right name).
Basicly I would like to get a linear image from a can-like image, for
example like

I have been using hugin since before 0.8 times, but still I can't
figure out how I can generate a HDR image from a stack of photos taken
with different exposures.
I mean that the UI doesn't communicate in a friendly way _how_ a HDR
image or panorama is got.
It seems that such a task is considered
Hugin in ubuntu's ppa:
2010.2.0+2010.3.0+hg4727-0ubuntu1~maverick
doesn't generate CPs.
I have purged it, installed it again; I suppose all is reset to
"factory settings".
What I'm doing:
- open hugin
- from assistent, load images. I select various contigous photos (7/8
photos) and load them
