That's interesting. I figured there was an easy way to do it.
It would be good for me to develop some scripting skills :-)
I had to act as my own script slave, patiently downloading and manually
keying in changes into the browser address (all the time thinking, "I'm

Hi John
Thanks for sharing your experiences on this. I think doing something
like this, just for the fun of it, teaches me a lot.

Hi Thomas,
It seemed successful to me.
Yes, I did get the images from that link. I found the easiest way to get
them was to drill in to the first Full res image:

download it, and then increment the image number,

Thanks, Bruno.
Yup, I can see that. It's interesting that different ways of
using/organizing the underlying tools definitely have their advantages.
Obviously I love Hugin. But in stitching that big Martian pano I see that
what works for a partial pano or on a full pano created from just 4-12 wide

Ultimately, Hugin is a pointy-clicky visual way to use some tools
that were notoriously difficult whe

That's helpful and good to know.

OK,
I think I figured it out. I hope I haven't broken anything.
I changed this:

Hi Harry,
Thanks for the response. (It's partially your move away from OS X that has
stimulated me to learn more about this stuff. I figure that in the future,
among other things, I might actually have to compile my own Hugin Mac
binaries!)
When you say,

I have seen this:

and it is interesting. But I need some more basic information. (Like the
