I have noticed a number of SVCR 0 entries (with no corresponding SVC 0) in
SYSTRACE, but not just after an ATTACH. I see them in connection with
traces of a problem with a TCB that has an active SVC table (TCBSVCA2).
The PSW NSI is the address of the routine for redriving the intercepted SVC.

The manual says that u4083-3 is due to a save area backwards pointer
containing zeros. When applications were first migrated to LE many years ago,
some assember subroutines needed to be updated to chain save areas
correctly. Check for a new assembler subroutine in the run unit (or one that
has

recommendations). See apar OA12185 for the explanation. There was no
