After you made the change in CONSOLxx to LOGON(AUTO) was there a plex wide IPL?
IIRC CONSOLxx definitions are plex wide so a member entering the plex will use
a 'cached' version which may be different than you expect.
You should be able to dynamically alter to LOGON(AUTO) then as long as CONSOLx
