Jerry I see you have your answer you really need. Just to answer your actual question: If the "macro" names and the values of the UNIT keyword are anything to go by, you would appear to be trying to attach a 3277 to a 3174 and that is what you are "doing wrong". 3277s used to attach to a 3271
