Hi,
I just ran an applycheck and received this error. I've never experienced
this error. Anybody have any ideas ? No other error messages were
generated.

Oops; I remember. BTDT. It's the WAIT problem. When necessary, I've
dealt with this by removing the WAIT operand.
Yes, it is the WAIT operand on the DDDEF entry. That wait function does
indeed require the using program (GIMSMP in this case) to be authorized.

indicates whether SMP/E should wait for the data set to be allocated if
