Agreed on the wrong message. I think ORG *,8 is what you want. And it should work regardless of SECTALGN & GOFF. btw, I'd never run across this before, so thanks for the tip. I've had one of those wacky padding-to-a-boundary macros for years, but this might be much better. Assuming it works.
