All updates to TKE's associated with IBM z or LinuxONE servers are only updated by IBM SSRs. They bring the code to the TKE, logon in Service Mode, and apply the update or perform the install. IBM does not distribute TKE feature code updates any other way. If the code in question was

If you are interested in not splitting, besides the mention of setting a line limit, look at the emergency subsystem available in jes2 2.4. And of course looking at potential automation to detect/ prevent issue may have value. Although a job in a loop can be a challenge to handle.
