What services exist to build dependencies for things

The idea behind 'make' has always been a good one,

Hi,
I am at a disaster recovery planning site right now. Running z/VM 5.2.0 Service
Level 0601 2nd level. We have been getting a PRG004 hard abend and it appears
from looking at IBM Service Link this has to do with APAR VM63987 and there is
a fix for z/VM 5.2, namely UM31750 since it is seems
It seems to have worked for me:
SRD:
1,1. ORDEROrder PTFs
Fix ID . . .,UM31750_,Single fix, electronic delivery
(Fix may be delivered compacted or
uncompacted)
Type the appropriate information, then press Enter.
Shipping medium . . . . . . . .
I hope you don't hear from me again on strange results. I have used SHUTDOWN
REIPL many times, both on 2nd level systems and on the real iron and nothing
like this has ever happened before (or since - I have tried a few times on 2nd
level to see if it would repeat).

Don't understand. Yesterday I ordered VSE PTFs and had no problem. I still get
There are no valid PTF(s) in this order
Maybe just put in a call or try on another fix.
Thanks,
Mike

Greetings,
I have 2 TCP/IP stacks set up, one for the client and one for us. I have setup
an SMTP server for each stack and the clients one is working fine.
However, mine is not working.
The IP address I have specified as IPMAILERADDRESS I can communicate with it
from my CMS account and
Make sure you disable DNS for your second SMTP server, either by
providing a TCPIP PROFILE that does not have NSINTERADDR statements or
using the new configuration support in the SMTP config file to force
traffic to go to the IPMAILERADDRESS entry.

This must be an older release of SMTP and/or VM.
Comment out the NSINTERADDR line entirely (14.0.0.0 is a historical
variant of 127.0.0.1 and is not equal to no name service at all) and put
the IPMAILERADDR back to the IP address of the mail server where you
want all the mail to go. In older

Drat -- just saw this. The idea I suggested will still work, though. If
it does, then you know that that's the problem.
