I coded it on a disk and loaded it into the z9 from the SE. When it was
right and z/VM was available, I uploaded it to z/VM where it can be done
much more easily.

Your SE has a diskette drive? Mine does not. There is a diskette drive on
the HMC. So I have to log into the HMC, then use Single Object Operations
to get to the CPC.

We migrated from a z800 to a z9-BC and created the initial IOCP this way:
1) Downloaded the CHPID Mapping Tool from IBM Resource link, and installed it
on a Windows PC.
2) Used Resource link to download the CFR report (hardware report) for our new
z9-BC
2) At the z800 HMC, exported the
Argh!
