Not so sure about that.
I couldn't find any messages about the loss of our F400 on this vswitch

You can also use any SNMP-capable monitor and look at the SNMP physical

The system manages the Primary and backup connections and if either one

I use the QUERY VSWITCH command to check the current Status like this

Check out the EREP USER GUIDE. You want to read up on CPEREPXA. Look to
create a history file and run any reports from there. Lots of different
parameters depending on what you are looking for and how you want to
collect and hold the data.
For a quick creation of a history file and clearing the

I would like to thank everyone for their input. It has been very
valuable. We have downloaded and installed Hobbit, and are in the
process of configuring it for our environment. We are going to evaluate
Hobbit to see if it will fit our needs. If it does not meet our needs,
we will evaluate the solu

Yes, in the CMS environment, Rexx execs are reentrant. And a Rexx exec can be run in
separate threads in a CMS multitasking application, although a Rexx exec can not be the
main program in such an application.

Thanks, good to know.
Reason I'm asking is because I have one exec which calls or an exec others at
the same time in production.

REXX execs are reentrant. For a non-reentrant exec, one would need to
code an exec that modifies itself
I run OSA/SF daily on an LPAR that is running z/VM 5.4.0. I haven't seen
this problem.

REXX execs are reentrant. For a non-reentrant exec, one would need to
code an exec that modifies itself (common in VM's middleages when
EXEC-1 was the only thing we had, and EXEC-1 cuts everything to 8
chars, except for what was between &BEGSTACK and &END).

Are REXX EXEC's considered to be reentrant?
As in writing CICS type of code being either fully reentrant or qusi reentrant.
If they aren't how can you create on one that is?
Thanks.
