From where can you PING the MVS TCPIP?

We have just installed zVm 5.4 on our system. Now we are running with a
SSLSERV that resides in VM/CMS. Since we have been at this level, we have been
getting TN3270 Telnet sessions running in Clear mode. We have included the
SSLSERVERID in our TCPIP stack but this has not corrected the
in the InternalClientParm section.
If this is SECURECONNECTION NEVER it will always be clear.
You probably want REQUIRED or PREFERRED.
