Hello.. I have a customer who is looking to access a Federated Database residing in AIX from VM. No database in the VM environment. So VM would strictly be a 'launching pad' or the requestor environment and the Federated database in AIX would be the server. Can this be done? If so, is it

I'm not sure if Federated Support is available in DB2 for VSE VM, but minimally the DB2 for VM 7.5 client code would need to be installed on VM, which is basically everything except the database engine. I would suggest starting with the General Information manual. Or maybe the product
