Thanks, Kris. Let me see what else the list produces; I am playing now
with EXECUPDT but I don;t think it will do enough to "hide" some
sensitive passwords, etc. I wish we had the Rexx compiler, but I don't
believe we do.

COL is on VM's download lib. But, don't misunderstand: COL is an
invaluable tool to extend the power of XEDIT, it does however not
compress EXECs: it was compressed itself, whict a tool whose name I
forgot.

There used to be ONLINE to compress, but maybe that's only available
internally in IBM.
