I'm missing something really stupid G I want to copy some CMS files from 1st level VM to 2nd level VM. Files such as REXX and JCL seem to copy fine, but my biggest, current problem is modules. When I do the FTP, a filelist on both sides shows the exact same info, such as LRECL, records and

Before transferring modules, issue TYPE E, MODE B (two separate commands). You need the FTP client to preserve record boundaries, and it won't do that without those two commands.

Why make it difficult? Using FTP also makes that the file timestanps get lost (they are set to the time of transmission), so yopu no longer can check what level of files you've got. Make lyour first level mchine LINK to the minidisks you want to get files of. So, for example in user LVL2VM
