In hunters, that would be considered a SERIOUS fault. Even over-jumping by
an extra few inches can be considered "over jumping" and that is considered
unnecessary risk for injury as well as using unnecessary energy.

We were without power for about 36 hours. The wind was amazing. The
rain and bits of debris hurt when they hit me. We have a lot of water
and mud but we are on the top of a sandy ridge and will drain quickly.

Second to the left is an old Courbette jump saddle owned by my sister
in law - it's called an "x-wide", but it's a 31cm tree - hardly wide for
most horses in the real
world that I know.
I wrote that wrong - sorry. Courbette considered a 31 cm to be a

Good point, I always check/have my sidewalker check as far back as they can
get their hand/arm to go, which is hopefully mid-forearm. All of this is
best done with a similar weight rider to who is mostly going to be riding in
the saddle with the padding that you are going to be using.
