Wow..thanks! That's an adult West Taiga Great Horned Owl...here we only have
the dark eastern versions. I used to see completely white versions when I
taught in Hermosillo, MX back in 2001. Those things
You're right, Cheryl. Great-horned owls can and do eat skunks (cats, small
dogs, porcupines (often to their detriment)). Barn owls usually prefer to
stick to small rodents.

Wow, thats a really light colored Great-horned owl. Ours are much darker.
