are you hosing him off at least twice a day? take him for walks or
work him in your round pen for about 10-20 minutes xper day. you may
want to bute him 1 gm to help the swelling. it looks like it's still
draining?? the important thing is to keep him moving and cold hosing
him. poor little man.

give him nothing, to not stall him, to "let him be a horse" and run
around with others. he is in with Tivar and Tivar is pretty laid back

I think the bute is more for the pain; but it may also act as a blood
thinner, retarding coagulation. So that's probably a valid point.
