Very interesting link - going to try it on my machine tonight - pity I will
be able to use it only when I have free unlimited access - if the
availability of unrestricted broadband in Tvm improves I can certainly see
this becoming a viable option ...

If you want to build your own ubuntu derivative you can do the following
a) Install a fresh ubuntu
b) install whatever software you want.
c) Install remaster sys
d) Make a custom iso
e) Install reconstructor
f) run reconstructor on you custom iso
g) Finally
