My laptop sound stopped suddenly yesterday. I dont know how it
happened. i checked alsamixers and other things, all are in normal
case. I restarted the system to M$, there the sound is working fine.
Should I reinstall alsa?

pendrive, it s considered write protected by parent OS, even if its not
relevant at that location. may be you delete any such folders in any other
OS n try partitioning as usual.it happend in ubuntu, years back.

There are certain pendrives which are already encrypted.. For that pendrives
we cant do anything in linux.. There is a software truecrypt inorder to use
it in windows.. Without the help of the software cant do anything..

I think you have 20 monitor.. Now adays 20/22 amsung LCD's have this
prob..Its the problem of your monitor not of OS.. Just contact your service
provider or call samsung toll free number 180030008282..They will clear the
problem with no cost if u are in warranty period..
